MEET WENDI! A 3-4 year old, female, American Rescue with similarities to a Scottie Terrier/Schnauzer Mix. She weighs around 20-25lbs. Wendi has a very sweet personality. LOVES people and attention, especially belly rubs. She is ok with being handled but can be reserved and submissive. She can also be a ball of energy but also likes to snuggle on the couch. When she is done playing, she's done and she lays down. She has had some issues with guarding from other dogs, but it seems to be situational. She has never guarded anything from people. Wendi knows some basic commands like sit, down and paw. She likes to chew bones, a finicky eater but very treat motivated. She is housebroken and good in the crate once she feels secure in her new surroundings. Wendi appears to be cat friendly but may want to play with a cat. She is very in tune to her terrier heritage

spunky and fiesty at times and can be vocal. Wendi would be best suited for a couple or single person with a love and previous experience with her terrier breed and a pet free home where she can be the center of someone's world. Wendi is fully vetted, up-to-date on her shots, spayed and microchipped. Wendi is currently being fostered in the Eastern PA area.
