Jill (Coming Soon)'s story
For Adoption:
Meet Jill! Poor Jill has been in a kennel/shelter environment for a year. She is adorable but is hard to photograph. She might impress most people as being a pit bull mix at first, but the rescue really doesnt see that much of it in her other than the brindle coloring. She is very sweet and playful and is reported to get along with most of the other dogs. They had her out playing in the visitation room at the shelter and made a couple short video clips. https://youtu.be/zZAYTR0MVIQ https://youtu.be/KjxB31uiz08
Jill is in a foster home in GA awaiting transport. This is a note from her foster:
Jill continues to adjust to living in a house and with a pack. She still shows a bit of dominance, not to be confused with agression, but she seems to be finding her way in a pack. She is not aggresive at all with humans, and actually hates being away from humans. If left in the back yard, even with other dogs, she will bark and seem anxious. I just think she needs to learn to be a dog again. Getting out of jail after a year understandably requires adjustment. She rode well to the store with me yesterday and behaved herself inside. As of today STILL NO accidents in the house. She loves laying on the couch with her human while watching tv. She loves running after a ball, and just thoroughly enjoys human contact. She is beginning to eat the regular kibble, it always amazes me how these precious souls can adjust so quickly. I surely hope she finds a forever home that loves her forever because I can tell that she will.
